Online groups for parents, autistic teens, and autistic adults

At Avela Health, we know community matters. That’s why we offer therapeutic groups for autistic adults, autistic teens, and parents of autistic kids and teens. These groups create safe, affirming spaces to connect with others who “get it,” share real experiences, and build practical tools for daily life.

Whether you’re navigating a new autism diagnosis, supporting your teen, or looking for connection as a parent, our groups combine evidence-based practice with neurodiversity-affirming care. You’ll leave each session with more clarity, more confidence, and the reminder that you don’t have to do this alone.

How to join: Our therapeutic groups, led by Master’s and Doctorate-level clinicians are offered exclusively to Avela Health clients. Call or text us today at 855-328-5931 to enroll in our program.

Thriving While Autistic: A Space for Teens

A space for autistic teens to explore who they are, connect with peers, and grow the skills they need to thrive.

This group blends identity exploration, emotional tools, and real connection—with other teens who get it. Together, we’ll build confidence, language, and community in a space that’s affirming, supportive, and led by experts who see the whole person.

It’s not about changing who you are. It’s about growing into yourself, with support.

Facilitators: Laura Shields & Rose Morlino

The Welcome Circle: Life After an Adult Autism Diagnosis

If you’re a newly diagnosed autistic adult, you’re probably riding a wave of relief, confusion, and a thousand new questions. Join us to explore your identity, connect with others who get it, and share your experiences without judgment.

We’ll learn and practice ways to handle challenges, stay present, and make choices that feel right for you. You’ll leave each session with practical tools, a clearer sense of self, and a community that celebrates you for exactly who you are.
