Cynthia Anderson, PhD

For the last 30 years, Dr. Cynthia Anderson has been driving transformative behavioral health outcomes through technology and collaborative research, with a focus on development and evaluation of caregiver-mediated intervention. She is passionate about addressing barriers to the uptake and sustained use of evidence-informed interventions for caregivers. For example, in recent research Dr. Anderson and her colleagues developed, then evaluated a low-dose alternative to ABA for autistic children and found that this intervention was no less effective than ABA. As a clinical-child psychologist, she has deep expertise in neurodivergent child and family-oriented outcomes in schools, homes, and communities.

Dr. Anderson is an accomplished researcher whose work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, The Department of Defense, and the Institute for Education Sciences and has led to over 80 peer-reviewed publications, books, and book chapters.
